Hotel Florida - Venice

good location but breakfast was a bit rushed

The hotel's proximity to the train station made transportation effortless, great to explore the city with ease. The staff were warm, always eager to assist us, which enriched our experience. We especially loved the breakfast, as it offered a nice variety of both sweet and savory options, perfect for starting our days before venturing out. The room was not only clean but also provided a peaceful retreat, we had a great night's sleep after long excursions.

Brand-new room with good air-conditioning, external bathroom and all the necessary toiletries, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, recently refurbished, had exceptionally helpful staff in reception desk and breakfast. In general, I liked my tastefully decorated room with wifi. The location was magnificent - close enough to the main shopping street in Venice as well as StLucia train station as well as the Canale Grande Vaporetti stop, most convenient to many restaurants and shops. Had lunch/dinner at Zanze Xvi, which I found at a short distance from the property...

Thank you for a PLEASANT stay. The rooms are air-conditioned and brand-new, and are complete with the heater, single bed, as example. Offers good service and excellent food.

Hotel was super close to the train station , made getting around venice super easy. The room was comfy and clean, and the staff was really friendly and always ready to help. We also loved the breakfasts, they had a nice mix of options to start our day. No issues with check in, it was really smooth even tho some said it was confusing. Great value for the price we paid, totally recommend it!

The wifi was kinda spotty which was annoying. The bathroom door didn't have a lock which felt a bit weird.

Location is excellent near the ferry boats, bus terminal and within walking distance of all main sights

The room was very small as was the bathroom so it was a little cramped for 2 people

The staff was friendly, the location was very good as i expected, and the price i think is a price for staying in venice, but it is a 2 star hotel after all, but a clean 2 star hotel and that is the most important.

The location is excellent, just moments from the train station, made navigating the city easy. Cleanliness was great, and the friendly staff were quick to assist with any inquiries. Breakfast included a variety of options, such as waffles. The Wi-Fi connection was unpredictable.

We arrived early in the morning (09:40am) but our room was allready available! The comfort room is nice and big. Staff is friendly, helpfull and speak both English and French (and Italian of course). The hotel is lokated in a quiet street, but only 50 meters from the Canal Grande, station Ferrovia (all vaporettas) and 80 meters from the main railway station. On the day of our departure we could stay in de lounge and use the faccilities witch was very nice (it was raining) In the review of Booked.net several people complain about the breakfast, but that is normal in Italy! There was enough. Don't expect 5-start quality if you're not in a 5-star hotel.

The Location was ideal for short stay in Venice. Friendly and helpfull staff were very welcoming. The room was clean and there was a good breakfast. Family break on a budget, I would recommend it to anyone. Restaurant next door (Il Sandolo) also very friendly well priced and excellent food.

The Hotel Florida was really easy to find. Perfectly located for all public transport and an easy walk to most tourist spots. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate for our needs, very clean and serviced every day. Breakfast which is included in the price was ample and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Venice for a short break.
